In a globalist world, large corporations increasingly call the shots. They have the power to make huge losses in order to disrupt certain markets and then operate as monopolists (and thus without much competition). Entry as a newcomer is then very difficult and requires enormous investments with little prospect of existence, let alone any return.

But there are also disadvantages to such a market approach. For these are no longer companies, but bureaucracies. They can only survive by throwing a lot of (borrowed) money at it. They are not very decisive, have huge inefficiencies and high overhead costs, they are not creative, not focused on profitability, they are slow-witted and very inflexible. They also do not represent a real economy. But. every advantage has its disadvantage!
